I purchased my plane ticket and vacation package today for 4 days and nights on Kosrae (5/8 to 5/12).  At some point I’ll either be diving, mingling with the locals, or last, but not least, preying on the island pigs of Kosrae with a machete in hand.  The only thing I can’t decide on is whether or not to wear a ceremonial cod piece or just a regular loin cloth… (HA)  I just hope we don’t run into any polar bears (for you Lost watchers out there).  I’m sure there will be pictures of the ensuing mayhem and dives.  We might actually get to see some hammer head sharks and other aquatic species we don’t usually get to see on the Kwajalein atoll.  I’m pretty excited!

In the mean time, I’m still having the occasional job interviews with companies in the DFW area.  As I’m in no hurry to leave, I’m waiting for the perfect job to land in my lap.  Hopefully they still exist and I’m qualified for them!

Sure hope the pilot is good………have you checked out the length of the runway? Not a lot of margin for error. Or………….maybe you could just wear your diving equipment.

Oh, they do and you are!

Be sure to say hello from Alice and Tom to our good friend Emilson Phillip. He’s almost certainly the man who will take you boar hunting. He’s very entertaing — you will have a great time! We spent a year on the island doing many wonderful dives and eating lots of lobster provided by Emilson.
